News alert - Luxo barge through MOT!

Despite having spent a thick wedge a couple of months ago getting the A8 serviced and fettled at Audi Brighton, it still failed its MOT last week. Bit of a shock really as I had expected the German bruiser to have sailed through given its obvious build quality and heritage. A rear brake caliper had seized and needed replacement, the plenum chamber had become blocked and full of dirty water and a track rod end was also worn. Not massive jobs and all carried out very efficiently but again at a cost approaching four figures! It is fair to say that whilst 95% of the cost may have been depreciated, the running costs are still there in full!

Still all now ready to waft Fatrat and I in luxurious comfort to the Goodwood Festival of Speed on Friday.
